February Recap: Big Crowds, Big Shows & Beating the Rain ☀️🌧️

From stadium singalongs to pre-season footy and plenty of rainy-day adventures, February kept the Let’s Go community on the move.

February delivered a huge month of events. Ed Sheeran stole the show, bringing an unforgettable night of singalongs, while our Broncos pre-season game gave everyone a taste of footy returning to Suncorp. Even with plenty of rain around, the Let’s Go community kept showing up – proving once again that a little weather won’t stop a good time. 🎶🏉🌧️

A Month of Social Fun 🎲

Our social calendar was packed throughout February, starting with a Montville day trip where the crew explored the Sunshine Coast hinterland, checked out local shops, and enjoyed a relaxed day out together. Back in Brisbane, we kept the good times rolling with a Karaoke Social, where plenty of brave performers grabbed the mic and turned the studio into a full singalong.

We also returned to an all-time classic with axe throwing, which quickly turned into a full afternoon of friendly competition. February wouldn’t be complete without a little love in the air, and our Share the Love Valentine’s event brought everyone together for a feel-good night of connection and fun. Alongside that, our Games Night delivered plenty of laughs, friendly rivalries, and classic board game chaos.

To make the most of the warm weather, the community also headed to the Sunny coast for a beach day and surf lesson, we saw some serious shredding from our crew. We tackled the new mini golf at the Powerhouse, where the group journeyed the colourful course designed like an art museum and kept the competitive spirit alive right to the final hole. ⛳🌊🎤

Sports Highlights from February ⚡

February was action-packed on the sports front! We wrapped up the Brisbane Bullets season, celebrating the highlights and big moments from the year. The Dolphins pre-season game gave us an early taste of the footy season ahead, while the Broncos pre-season clash saw the rain pour down – but that didn’t stop us! The crew made the most of it, dancing in the rain and cheering the team on with full energy.

Rounding out the month, the Queensland Reds brought the rugby action, giving everyone a thrilling day of tries, tackles, and team spirit. Rain or shine, February proved the Let’s Go community is ready to bring the energy for the Broncos season in March! ⚡🏉🌧️

Gigs & Live Music Highlights 🎶

February was an incredible month for live music and gigs! We kicked things off with Come As Romans, then got swept up in the magic of Cats the Musical. Laneway Festival was a standout, with Hayden stepping in as the accessibility coordinator, making sure everyone with access needs could enjoy the day stress-free.

The month kept rolling with amazing shows: Nathan Apollo, OneRepublic (yes, even in the rain), Gillian Welch, Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Good Charlotte, AM Social, and the Lambrini Girls – a truly diverse lineup that kept our crew singing, dancing, and loving every moment.

But the undeniable highlight? Ed Sheeran. This was huge. We went both Saturday and Sunday nights, with a total of 30 people from the Let’s Go community joining the singalong experience, waving their arms, belting out every word, and making the stadium feel like our own private party. It was a massive, unforgettable moment – the kind of gig that people will be talking about for months. 🎤💛🎸
