Getting Jolly in July: festive celebrations, State of Origin and a month full of good times.🎄🏟️💃

Time to relive all the best moments from July!

The winter chill didn’t slow us down, and we made the most of every weekend, every event and every moment in July. There was heaps on offer, from our regular crowd favourite socials to events happening all over Brisbane, Gold Coast and Byron.

Check out all the photos below, save them and share them with your friends and family!📸

State of Origin Game III: The Decider🏟️🏉

One of the highest anticipated event of the year took place in July… the State of Origin Game III Decider!

We had been looking forward to this one for months, and the energy at the studio for our pre-game BBQ was nothing short of electric. After a sizzling meal, a couple drinks and plenty of tomfoolery, we made our way to Suncorp to take in this high stakes game.

The roller coaster of the game brought on many mixed emotions, celebrating hard when QLD made some comeback manoeuvres, and disappointment when NSW were crowned the winners of State of Origin 2026!

The loss was heavy for some, but most of us left the game with even more energy after a fun night with the crew, and a hunger to take back the trophy next year. Does QLD have what it takes in 2027?

July Socials🍻

July was packed with adventures, creativity and plenty of opportunities to connect with friends old and new.

We explored Wildlife HQ on the Sunshine Coast, tackled the Mount Coot-tha bushwalking trails, spotted humpback whales on our Byron Bay day trip, and discovered the fascinating Croc Museum. Back in Brisbane, we sang our hearts out at Karaoke Night, got competitive at Arcade Night, enjoyed the atmosphere at Le Festival and Night Feast at Brisbane Powerhouse, joined the Ipswich Writers & Illustrators Session, and wrapped up the month with another fantastic Christmas in July Saturday Social at the studio.

✨ The highlight of the month was our second Pamper Party! The studio was once again transformed into the ultimate girls’ night in, complete with face masks, nails, vision boards, crafts, rom-coms and all the best slumber party vibes. It was the perfect afternoon to relax, catch up with friends, make new connections and enjoy a little self-care. Judging by the smiles and laughter all evening, this one was an absolute hit!

We also hit the dance floor for Let’s Go Clubbing 4.0, proving once again that our community knows how to have a great night out. From outdoor adventures to unforgettable socials, July was another month filled with memories we’ll be talking about for a long time.

July Gigs🎶

July was filled with incredible live music, giving our community the chance to experience everything from intimate local performances to major touring artists.

We celebrated 15 years of Hiatus Kaiyote at The Tivoli, where their unique blend of neo-soul, jazz and funk created an unforgettable atmosphere, before singing along to every anthem with Peach PRC during her Open Season performance.

Our crew also discovered some of Queensland’s best local talent, catching Full Flower Moon Band, enjoying the emerging artists at Sundown Festival, and supporting The Pretty Littles proving once again that Brisbane’s live music scene is thriving.

It wasn’t just about the music either. We laughed until our cheeks hurt at Drag Roast 2026, where quick wit, outrageous performances and plenty of audience banter made for one of the funniest nights of the month.

Whether we were dancing in the crowd, discovering new favourite artists or laughing the night away, July showed exactly why live entertainment is such a big part of the Let’s Go calendar.

July Sports 🏉

July was another massive month of live sport, with our community cheering on Brisbane’s biggest teams and creating memories you simply can’t get from watching at home.

We kicked things off with the Harlem Globetrotters, where incredible trick shots, hilarious crowd interactions and unbelievable ball skills had everyone smiling from start to finish.

Our first stop at Suncorp Stadium was the Broncos Double Header, watching the Broncos NRLW kick off their season before cheering on the Broncos in a hard-fought clash against the Sharks. Although Brisbane went down 28-16, our crew stayed loud until the final siren.

It was a tougher outing for the Dolphins the following week, with Cronulla proving too strong in a 66-0 result, but we were back supporting the Phins again when they bounced back in style with an impressive 36-16 win over the Cowboys at Suncorp Stadium.

We also got behind the Wallabies as they took on France in an electric international atmosphere, while two trips to the Gabba saw us celebrate a dominant 149-59 Brisbane Lions victory over Essendon before returning for another huge clash against Adelaide.

The Adelaide game gave us one of our favourite moments of the month, with the crew heading onto the field during quarter time to take part in the Quarter Time Challenge. A huge shout out to Jeremy and Shen, who were the only two from our group to kick a goal in front of the Gabba crowd! 👏

Win, lose or draw, there’s nothing quite like experiencing live sport together, and July once again showed why game day is always one of the highlights of the Let’s Go calendar.
