STEP INTO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF JIM HENSON!

Calling all Muppets, puppets, fantasy and movie fans! The Australian Cinémathèque at GOMA is celebrating the incredible world of The Jim Henson Company with a huge cinema program running alongside the world-exclusive Make, Believe, Magic: The Worlds of The Jim Henson Company exhibition.

Across the program, you can catch some absolute classics including Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, The Muppets Take Manhattan, Muppet Treasure Island, The Witches and MirrorMask, as well as experimental films, television specials and plenty of Henson creations you might not have seen before.

Best of all? The screenings are FREE! The program runs from September 2026 through to April 2027, so there are heaps of different sessions to choose from.
