December was nothing short of magical at Let’s Go! The festive season brought twinkling lights, joyful gatherings, and plenty of cheer as we wrapped up an incredible 2024.

We were also thrilled to announce an epic highlight this month—KIA and the Broncos gifted Let’s Go a car! This incredible gesture speaks volumes about the strong relationship we’ve built with the Broncos over the years. It’s a testament to the giving spirit of the season, and we’re beyond grateful for KIA’s generosity. Game On: December’s Epic Matches and Sporting Showdowns!

December kept us on the edge of our seats with action-packed games and unforgettable performances.

The Brisbane Bullets lit up the court in their face-offs against the Adelaide 36ers, Southeast Melbourne Phoenix, and Illawarra Hawks. Each game brought electrifying plays and unrelenting team spirit. Meanwhile, Brisbane Roar’s clash against Melbourne City had us cheering from the stands as they fought hard under the summer skies.

For cricket fans, the Australia vs India Test was a spectacle to behold, showcasing world-class talent and nail-biting moments. And let’s not forget the Brisbane Heat’s thrilling matches against the Adelaide Strikers and Sydney Sixers. The atmosphere at the Gabba was electric as the Heat delivered big hits and crucial wickets.

Rounding out the month, the Brisbane International Tennis served up incredible action and showcased some of the world’s best players. It was a must-see event for tennis fans and a fantastic addition to December’s sporting lineup.

Festive Gatherings: Social Highlights That Sparkled in December!

The holiday season was made brighter by a jam-packed social calendar that brought everyone together.

We kicked things off with a Laser Force Social, where friendly competition and laughter reigned supreme. Aqua Warrior Inflatable Water Park was a hit, offering a refreshing splash of fun. White Christmas at Movie World had us walking in a winter wonderland, complete with sparkling lights and holiday magic.

Our Beach Day Social and Surf Lesson was the ultimate way to soak up the sun and ride the waves. Christmas Putt Putt brought a festive twist to mini-golf, and our Let’s Go Christmas Party and Movie Night was the perfect mix of celebration and cozy vibes. We wrapped up the year with a bang at New Year’s Eve at Felons, watching fireworks light up the Brisbane River as we welcomed 2025.

December’s soundtrack was nothing short of spectacular.

The Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols set the perfect festive tone, bringing families and friends together under the stars to enjoy classic carols and holiday cheer. The beautiful harmonies and twinkling lights created a magical atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of Christmas.

Good Things Music Festival brought a high-energy lineup to Brisbane, showcasing the best in rock, punk, and alternative music. From mosh pits to unforgettable anthems, it was a day packed with non-stop excitement and a celebration of live music at its finest.

The Killers delivered a powerhouse performance that had the entire crowd singing along to their greatest hits. With the hits “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me,” the band’s energy was infectious, making it a night to remember.

Crowded House closed out the month with their timeless melodies and iconic stage presence. Their performance was a nostalgic journey through decades of hits, reminding us all of the enduring power of great music and heartfelt lyrics.
