The Vibes in July Were Incredible!

This month featured some incredible events!

When there’s a State of Origin decider, NRL and AFL games nearly every week, and some of the coolest social events all in the same month, it is a recipe for good times!

UP THE BRONCOS

Our most popular events tend to come from Broncos games, which often means they carry the best vibes possible!

Regardless of the final score, we always bring the energy to every game – so much so that we made it on the big screen more times than we can count! Was it Lily’s sign that caught the camera person’s eye, or the fact that we have the biggest Broncos membership attendance? I will let you be the judge!

In addition to the beloved men’s team blessing us with their rugby expertise, July marked the beginning of the NRLW season, and we maximised the opportunity to watch the women’s team play some fantastic footy.

Even though the Broncos didn’t win a single home game in July, I think we can all agree that we still had the best time and cannot wait for the last few games this season!

State of Origin Game III: Decider

How could we pass up the opportunity to witness the mighty Maroons take on the Blues at a sold-out Suncorp Stadium?

We began the night at a rooftop BBQ which overlooks the beautiful city lights, and of course, the magical lights of Suncorp Stadium.

After we devoured the gourmet burgers and had the vibes flying high, we made our way to our seats which had a fantastic view of the field and fireworks display.

Although the score wasn’t desirable for QLD supporters, the NSW fans in our community left with an extra skip in their step. Overall, witnessing a game of Origin in person is never going to disappoint, and we cannot wait for next year!

Spectacular Socials

In July, we had a blast with the plethora of socials on offer.

We hit the inflatable obstacle course at Tuff Nutterz with the crew, and the smiles could not be wiped off of our faces. We had Songhie blitz through the course in record time, Lily, Riley and Lachy get through the course having as much fun as possible, and Kajal take it nice and easy to nail each obstacle!

To take our social game up another level, we held a pyjama themed karaoke and movie night at our very own Let’s Go Studios. Most participants had a crack, and have to give a special shoutout to Andrew for preparing a delicious chip dip, Kajal for practically MCing the evening, and Madelin for bringing the house down with a rendition of Evanescence – Bring Me To Life. We topped off the evening by watching Black Panther which was a crowd favourite.

To keep the vibes rolling into the backend of the month, we headed to Glow Golf at St. Lucia to tackle their limited time glow in the dark mini-golf course. We had quite the competitive crew go head-to-head and smash through the course. We also went back to Dopamine Land with a bigger group for a dopamine rich experience. It was a feast for the senses, with different rooms catering to the taste buds of the mind.

PHINS UP!

To cater to our Dolphins supporters, we headed to Suncorp on July 28th to hopefully make up for the Broncos loss the day before.

We soaked up the beautiful Sunday afternoon sun and cheered on the Dolphins right till the final whistle. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to head home with the winning score, but we are ready to cheer on the Dolphins next game!

ROARING TIME AT AFL!

It’s always a good time heading to the Gabba to watch the Lions live up to their reputation and keep the winning streak alive.

We had the pleasure to watch the mighty Lions win not one, but two of the games at the Gabba! The stadium ROARED in support of the boys and sang along with heart to Sweet Caroline and the Lions theme song.

Our team is now in the top 3 on the ladder, will we be able to claim the top spot in the final?

TINA Turned out to Be Amazing!

The crew headed to Tina the Musical and were blown away by the level of expertise in the cast, and the vocal performances were top notch.

Luckily for Andrew, he even was fortunate enough to meet the stars of the show!
