Magic in JULY!

July brought the magic, the footy fever, and the friendships that make it all worth it

July was full of magic – both the literal kind (wand in hand) and the kind that happens when you’re surrounded by good people. We braved the cold, showed up for each other, and packed the month with connection, adventure, and new experiences. From stepping onto the footy field with the NRLW to exploring the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest, this month showed us once again how incredible the Let’s Go community is.

Magic, Movies & Mexican Feasts

One of our favourite nights this month was without a doubt the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience . We wandered through a glowing trail of floating candles and hippogriffs, with wands in hand and winter scarves wrapped tight. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just along for the atmosphere, it was pure magic from start to finish 🪄🌲✨

We kept the good times rolling with a few community favourites — Golf Social and Axe Throwing both made their return, with plenty of laughs (and a few near bullseyes).

A new addition to the calendar this month was our PJ Movie Night — a cosy winter evening in, complete with blankets, snacks, and all the good slow-down vibes. And we finished July strong with our Saturday Social back in full swing — great chats, even better company, and a big Mexican buffet for dinner 🌯🌟

We Came, We Cheered, We Conquered

We kicked off July with something really special — an exclusive NRLW Training Night with the Brisbane Broncos. The team welcomed us onto the field at Red Hill for an evening of skills, laughs, and chats with the players. From kicking goals on the field to the high energy warmups, we got a real feel for what it’s like to be part of the team — and walked away feeling energised, inspired, and a little bit starstruck 💫🏉

Our footy crew kept things rolling with a mix of NRL and NRLW match days. We cheered on the Broncos in a string of epic games — vs the Eels, Titans (road trip to the Gold Coast!), Dolphins, Tigers, and Roosters. A few close calls, a few big wins, and always a loud crowd of Let’s Go legends in the stands.

A major highlight mid-month was our State of Origin Watch Party — full of Maroons colours, passionate commentary, and a few nail-biting moments. Nothing like backing QLD with a room full of die-hard fans 🟥🟨

We also mixed things up with some AFL action, catching the Brisbane Lions take on both Port Adelaide and the Western Bulldogs, and got a taste of international rugby with the Wallabies vs Lions and Reds vs British & Irish Lions games. Massive crowds, electric energy — and plenty of reasons to get around the game.

If there was a stadium, we were probably in it!

🎤 Mic Drops & Magic Moments

July was a month of music, movement, and moments that brought us together — from big-name tribute shows to epic outdoor concerts and everything in between.

We immersed ourselves in the timeless drama of Jesus Christ Superstar, where the lights, costumes, and live performance energy left us starstruck in the best way. Then came the lively, playful energy of Dog Man: The Musical, where laughter and surprise moments sparked joy all around.

For the music lovers in the group, we turned the volume up with a few big tribute nights — singing our hearts out at the Elton John Experience and dancing in full disco spirit at the ABBA Tribute Night. Sequins were spotted. So were air keyboards!

High-energy sets from Billy Strings and the star-studded day at Sandstone Point Hotel, featuring legends like Hoodoo Gurus and The Angels, rounded out the month with powerful performances that had us united in the crowd, soaking in the music and the atmosphere.

Over these nights, it’s clear music is more than just the soundtrack — it’s a way we hang out, share a laugh, and connect.
