A Month of Footy Finals and Fun Socials

September in Brisbane was nothing short of electric! From the dazzling fireworks lighting up the river at Riverfire to the non-stop action of BrisFest, our community got front-row seats to the city’s biggest celebrations. We worked with Bigsound, cheered on our favourite teams at footy games, laughed our way through socials, and made memories that will keep us smiling well into spring. 🎶🏉🎉

Brisbane in epic finals matches!

Sport fever swept through September, and our crew was right in the middle of it all! We kicked things off with the Broncos taking on the Storm before backing it up at the Gabba for a huge Lions vs Cats game. The NRLW Broncos lit up the field against the Cowboys, while we also gathered for screenings of the Broncos vs Raiders and the AFL Grand Final – the energy in the room was unreal! 🙌

But nothing compared to the Broncos Pre-Lim Final at Suncorp – it was hands down the most electric atmosphere we’ve ever experienced. The roar of the crowd, the sea of maroon and gold, and every try sending the stadium into absolute chaos… it was a night we’ll never forget.

To top off a massive month of footy, our AFLW Lions went head-to-head with Richmond before we joined the epic AFL fan parade to celebrate the Lions’ big Grand Final win.

Fireworks, Saddles and fun Socials

Our socials this month were absolutely stacked with good vibes and big adventures. We kicked off with Riverfire, watching the fireworks burst over the city from the Ambrose rooftop – hands down one of the best views in Brisbane. Area 51’s Adults Only Night had us climbing and racing through obstacle courses, while a sunny Beach Day with surf lessons gave us the perfect chance to soak up the salt and sea. 🏄‍♂️🌊

Karaoke Night was full of laughs (and a few surprise superstar vocals 🎤), while BrisFest brought us unforgettable moments with Afterglow and Skylore – both absolute highlights that lit up the city with art and performance. We saddled up for an epic horse-riding adventure at the Gold Coast hinterland with Saddle Club and got creative (and maybe a little messy) at our Paint n Sip session. September really proved we know how to mix fun, creativity, and connection in the best way.

Mad for Music

September was a feast for the senses with music, dance, and live shows taking centre stage. We rocked out at Bad Dreems, sang along with the high-energy folk-punk of The Mary Wallopers, and soaked up the soulful sounds of Xavier Rudd. Lord of the Dance dazzled us with incredible Irish step dancing, while Dracula’s Cabaret served up outrageous laughs and unforgettable performances. We got our caffeine-fueled groove on at AM Social’s Coffee Rave, cheered along at MayDay Parade, and were blown away by the jaw-dropping artistry of Cirque Du Soleil. The month wrapped up on a high note at the Wild Aid Festival, mixing live music with a powerful message for our planet. 🌏✨

On top of all the fun, we were thrilled to work with Bigsound as part of their Concert Care team, focusing on accessibility and inclusion at the event. We met some amazing people, enjoyed some incredible live music, and can’t wait to be part of the action again in 2026! 🎵💛

October is looking like it’s “Monster Mashing”

And October is shaping up to be just as exciting! 🎃 From spooky season celebrations like the highly anticipated Monster Mash and Fright Nights, to day trips out to Eumundi and social adventures at Burleigh, there’s no shortage of fun on the horizon.
